ShaSu’s started in 2006 with the concept of “whatever you can imagine we can create it”. ShaSu’s Catering Services is the brainchild of two cousins, who did not desire to work for others much longer, grew tired of receiving substandard customer service from service providers, and decided to create a business where outstanding customer service was the nucleus.
Chef/Co Owner, Sue Ann Montaque is the creative mind behind the unique menu compositions and hands-on banquet designs that has been drawn from her affluent Food & Beverage background, which includes training in hospitality and food & beverage coupled with years of working experience with the Ritz Carlton chain.
Business Manager/Co Owner, Shapea Barnaby is the face of the business with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and working experience in the service industry.
The two decided to come together to build on something they both love, food. The concept (client dictates what they want) stemmed from the fact that too many catering companies are offering the same kinds of food and services. Both Sue-Ann and Shapea felt that their patrons should enjoy the catering experience and feel what A LA Carte service truly means.
Just name it and we will make it, and for those person who are unable to decide on a menu on their own, your personal guide will help you in choosing a menu that will compliment and enhance your wedding while literally wowing your guests.
We provide one on one consultations with the bride to ascertain her needs. We cater to weddings in various formats such as: platted dinners, buffet set-ups, bridal luncheons, bridal showers, etc.

We are currently based in Kingston, however as a catering company, we are flexible and we can bring the service to you. We are not available on holidays except on New Years holiday.
